You have to be aboveboard and sincere to your followers. You want to make sure all the details you provide is honest without adding any erroneous information. If you are providing facts you need to make them well defined, true, and easy to comprehend. Do not try to distort your facts, visitors can read this right away and as a result, you will lose visitors. If you come about to supply any information on your site that may appear to be erroneous, then you want to provide your reader with exact information to back up your assertion. When you are creating a blog topic on a very controversial issue refrain from using any ones names or places. This will protect you from any lawsuits and also from hurting your visitors feelings. A good adage for this code of ethics would be, say to others what you would wish them to reply about you. You also need to be sure that you protect a person's privacy. Invading a person's privacy is arrogant as well as intrusive and could cause you a lot of problems. If you do not want anyone doing it to you then do not do it to others. A great way to avoid violating this superior blog ethics code is to shun using names or places if at all attainable. If it is inescapable try to use as much damage control as possible.

3. Be Accountable:

You need to consent to the consequences that may come with your blog. If you have made a mistake in any of your postings acknowledge it right away, do not try to escape from it. Almost everyone makes mistakes and if you own up to yours you will be more respected in the readers eyes.

If someone happens to challenge your details on your blog open up a conversation with the person. Try to discover why they feel the way they do and if they prove to be right, express regret to the person and admit that yes you are right I did make a mistake. If you are not answerable for your blog you will be in violation of the blog code of ethics and as a consequence, you will lose followers.
